 How We Can Help…

Behavior Consultation

Behaviors are methods of communication from our dogs that serve a function and purpose for them. From the dog’s point of view, their behaviors in all situations, at any given moment, are demonstrations of how the dog perceives and responds to stressors in the environment or to events that may be threatening to them potentially robbing the dog of its natural and innate instinct to fight or take flight.  For example, aggression is one behavior dogs use to communicate information with other dogs, humans and other species with which they come into contact.

Our job is to answer the question of why our dogs are displaying undesirable, frightening or potentially risky behaviors that may cause harm to a person or other dog.

We specialize in modifying behaviors in dogs that may be related to fear, pain, trauma or other conditions. We work closely with owners to determine the underlying causes for the behaviors their dog is displaying and as a team, create a training plan to suit the needs of the dog and the family. We want all dogs to live happy and peaceful lives. Owning an aggressive dog can be stressful for both the dog and its owners. Contact us, we are here to help.
