Behavior Consultation
Behaviors are methods of communication from our dogs that serve a function and purpose for them. From the dog’s point of view, their behaviors in all situations, at any given moment, are demonstrations of how the dog perceives and responds to stressors in the environment or to events that may be threatening to them potentially robbing the dog of its natural and innate instinct to fight or take flight. For example, aggression is one behavior dogs use to communicate information with other dogs, humans and other species with which they come into contact.
